Elimination diet recipe: purple cabbage and apple risotto

Purple cabbage and apple risotto 
Risotto is made by slowly ladling broth into arborio or carnaroli rice as it cooks. 
It's usually made with a base of onion and garlic, but I've used bright, peppery purple cabbage and sharp apple instead. The flavour is completed with a generous handful of toasted almond slivers. I also substituted broth for boiling salted water as most broth contains onion and garlic.
The risotto matched the flowers!
